Vision & mission for investors

Every investor deserves the right products, monitored well.

Every investor should be able to invest in the right products for their needs, manage and monitor them against their goals, access clear reporting, and build genuine financial wellness.

Do's

  • Always deal with SEBI-registered Investment Advisers.
  • Ensure the Investment Adviser has a valid registration certificate; check the SEBI registration number.
  • Pay only advisory fees to your Investment Adviser, through banking channels, and keep signed receipts.
  • Always ask for your risk profiling before accepting any investment advice.
  • Insist that advice is given strictly on the basis of your risk profile and available alternatives.
  • Ask all relevant questions and clear your doubts before acting on any advice.
  • Insist on getting terms and conditions in writing, duly signed and stamped.
  • Read the terms carefully — especially advisory fees, plans and the category of recommendations.
  • Be vigilant in your transactions and approach the right authority for any grievance.
  • Inform SEBI about any Investment Adviser offering assured or guaranteed returns.

Don'ts

  • Don't fall for stock tips offered under the pretext of investment advice.
  • Do not hand over funds for investment to your Investment Adviser.
  • Don't fall for promises of indicative, exorbitant or assured returns.
  • Don't let greed override a rational investment decision.
  • Don't act on luring advertisements or market rumours.
  • Avoid transacting purely on the basis of phone calls or messages.
  • Don't decide just because of repeated calls or messages from an adviser.
  • Don't fall for limited-period discounts, gifts or other incentives.
  • Never share your trading or demat account login credentials with an Investment Adviser.
